My first wordbook...

Here is my first project with my Bind-it-All.

I won a rak from AmyD on the Cricut MB of a wordbook file for DS and here is what I made:

My new toys...

Well, I have been so busy sewing and selling my pillowcase dress that I have decided to treat myself. I got the Cuttlebug on sale at M's (50% off) last week or the week before and yesterday I got a Bind-it-all at HL with a coupon of course ;) I never pay full price for anything! I opened my BIA last night and it was broken, so today I took it back and exchanged it and I also picked up a Round-it-all :) Thanks to AmyD, I plan to make my first word book tomorrow!!

Wedding album for a friend...

Here is a small wedding album that I did for a dear friend as an anniversary gift. The pics came out a little blurry because I turned off my flash so it would not have a glare :(
I used Storybook cart, The Paper Factory paper, red ribbon, CM heart punch, Prima flowers & "skittles" that I dyed with pearl alcohol inks.

Valentine treat bags

Wow...it feels so good to take a break from sewing and craft something!!

I made Chocolate Almond Biscotti today and put it in treat bags for Valentine's Day.

Cricut Handbooks...

My handbook binders...

I do not know what I would do without my handbook binders!! I have a copy of all of my Cricut cartridge handbooks in them. When I'm looking for something, I do not have to go through each booklet or look on the back of each box. It saves me so much time and everything is all together in the binders. When I printed each handbook, I only printed the pages that are the actual overlay keys. I do not need all of the extra stuff that is in the booklet

(saves so much space).

And here is what the actual pages inside look like, before I put them in sheet protectors. (the black numbers on each picture were added at a later time. I use them to easily find the overlay key that I need)

You can even print them 6 per page if you like. I use the 2 per page on the ones with alot of detail and I use the 4 per page on the others. On the solution carts I only have one page.

I've been asked, "Where are these Cricut handbooks that you are always talking about?". Well, they are available on the Cricuit website but the quality has been changed. They are no longer very clear. Linda @ Just A Scrappin' has gotten together all of the original handbooks that are high quality. Click here to get the original handbooks files from Linda.

Skittles...

I have dyed "skittles" many times using the alcohol inks, but never thought of trying the Tim Holtz "mixatives" until today. I dyed some today in silver, gold, pearl and copper. I'm so excited and I can't wait to use them. Here they are:

Here are the layouts that I did at my retreat. As you can see, I didn't do much scrapping. LOL We had so much fun that we are planning to do it again in July!

I'm so excited!!!

Today I'm going to a scrapbooking retreat house for 6 days!! Yes... 6 days!!!
